The Statistics
First, get a degree.
You earn more and are more likely to be employed if you have a degree.
So you might as well study what you love, right?
Weekly income ($)
BA graduate destinations (Year 1)
Next, think about what you want to do after you graduate.
More study? Working for a not-for-profit company? Salaried job? Education?
Double your assets and opportunities.
Do a conjoint. Match Classics with Biology, Latin with Law, Greek with Physics, or Ancient History with Accounting
Then, think about the money.
Graduates in Classics keep pace with graduates from other degrees, even over time, and the more you study the more you earn.
PhD graduates earn up to $70,000 (or more) in the first year after graduation. Over time they can easily earn more than $100,000.
